You first have this birth of an idea, a vision of where you want to go, what you want to do, who you want to be. And then {ROADBLOCK}… you run into your own beliefs of not being enough, your own anger and even resentments {your own and those of friends and family for what YOU are doing for yourself}.  If you find that you are unable to forgive, to get over and move beyond you are just there. Marinating in the juices of this unmovable position. This almost always pushes you into a situation where you just feel powerless in where you are moving to in both life choices, and even business choices.

During the holiday season it can really get to you… emotional roadblocks are some of the worst. Those really hit you hard and make you start to question if you are enough to do what you want to. YOU ARE ENOUGH! Let me just state that right now. But until you fix what is broken, you won’t get there. How do you do that? 

Relationships… it’s all bound together.

I want to encourage you to move beyond this place and get started on the actionable steps for taking back the controls. It is your own growth that will make you into the person that you want to be. It is your purpose to make the decision to get over yourself, to forgive others or your own mistakes. You can’t push anyone else past your PAST.
I am here to help you, but YOU are the key to your future! YOU are your brand, and until you start working on your relationships, both personal and business, you are never going to achieve the success you deserve.

I love it when a “SMART” brand like SMARTWater pulls off a great ad. When you are working on a brand, it’s okay to have fun with it. You don’t have to be serious all of the time, in fact your audience will love you more if you aren’t a stuffy stufferson. Employing the use of some type of branding strategies is a wise and recommended tactic for anybody marketing on the internet. Developing your own unique online brand will serve to increase your marketing effectiveness because the identity you establish will help you stand out from the crowd. To accomplish this however will take time, patience and a little effort but it is not a difficult nor complicated process. 

Here are 3 simple to implement yet powerful ways to establish your online brand!

Identifiable Image

The use of imagery is a very effective way to capture someone’s attention and also helps to build an association with you and/or your business. As the saying goes ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ therefore the use of imagery will help to ‘conveniently’ convey your message. The key is to reinforce this association, repeatedly, and can be done by using the selected image in your signature file, email or even at social sites. With a little time and patience this practice will help you establish an online brand which will lead to an increase in your marketing effectiveness, which is your primary goal!

Social Networking

Tapping into the viral capabilities of online social networks is another great way to spread your message about on the internet while reinforcing your selected identity. It is recommended to select just a small number of sites to get involved in since to be effective you will need to invest some time. By ‘spreading yourself’ over too many sites you will be less effective and probably burn more time as well! Using social sites like this is just one strategy you can use while marketing on the internet so view it as such and try not to spend too much time at these sites. Remember you have a business to focus on!

Circulate Content

Always a good idea for increasing your exposure and also helping to build and firmly establish your credibility. Whether it is article submissions, free reports or blog content be mindful to establish relevance between what you publish and the online brand you are trying to develop. Now obviously you can not always clearly establish relevance with every piece of content you create but you can with any sites you have that are linked to the content. Here too much like social sites, you are taping into the viral capabilities of the internet by having people refer or pass around anything you published.

Implementing effective branding strategies is an important step towards establishing a business for anybody engaged in marketing on the internet. The reason behind developing an online brand is quite simple, it gives you an unique identity that tends to make you stand out from the competition. Done correctly your identity will help to boost your marketing effectiveness which translates into more sales with less effort! The 3 strategies offered above are not difficult or complicated to implement but yet are very effective. All you need to invest is a little time, patience and effort! Track Downloads With Email AnalyticsYou may already know about our Email Analytics features. These powerful tools allow you to target your list with pinpoint accuracy, sending messages that respond to subscriber activity.
Anywhere you install our analytics, you can track which of your subscribers visit that page. You can send email newsletters to subscribers who visit your order page, or who look at a specific page or product on your website.
We’ve recently taken things a step further, allowing you to track subscribers who click download links on your site.

How Does It Work?

Any download link on your website can be modified to track subscribers that use it. I came across this post on Chris Brogan’s blog, and I thought to myself that this would be a perfect place to start tracking downloads.
This kind of page, with a free download, is the perfect place to implement download tracking. We could easily follow up with subscribers who downloaded the PDF, asking for feedback on the content in the download, or even linking to related products.
Let’s take a look at the HTML for that download link as it is now:
In order for the link to tell the AWeber analytics javascript that a subscriber has downloaded the PDF, we just add a line or two:
And that’s it – when a subscriber clicks that link, it will be tracked as a page hit to the download!

What Is It For?

Now that we are tracking which subscribers are downloading the PDF, its time to put that information to work. We can now segment our list and send a message to those people.
To do so, we’ll first search our list for hits to the download’s URL – this is in our AWeber account, under the Subscribers tab, Search.
Next, we save this search as a segment so that we can refer to it later:
Now we can create a broadcast and send it out to that segment, directing their attention back to our site with links to similar resources, or maybe just asking for input on the content of the PDF.
