Super Bowl Kills Your Diet and Super Aspirin for the Day After

Super Bowl Kills Your Diet

Super Bowl Kills Your Diet and Super Aspirin for the Day After I Paleo Vegeo I Barbara Christensen

So many of us are gearing up for the sports day of the year, the Super Bowl. This means parties are happening across the nation. People enjoying more than normal amounts of sugar, carbohydrates, and of course alcohol. The Super Bowl kills your diet, and you think that just a little bit will be okay, but you are wrong. So that means tomorrow many people will be reaching for an aspirin when they wake up because of the effects of the glucose reactions (combined with the gluten reaction) in their systems – which can often cause migraines, headaches, fatigue and muscle soreness.

But what about all of those folks like myself that cannot take aspirin?? What are we to do? I often take my curcumin supplement for the anti-inflammatory results, but in Asian countries I learned that they use resveratrol to treat headaches. Resveratrol has been see to increase the number of mitochondria in the cell, and it provides energy and protection for your cells and brain. Long term use can help reduce migraines.

Super Aspirin Substitute

I am allergic to aspirin, and my mom takes a baby aspirin every day. I know at age 45 that I am quickly approaching the age where they recommend it, but I can’t. Aspirin is something I can’t have. I have been learning more about the Bombshell Jeunesse products and saw that they were using resveratrol for blood thinning/thickening problems. I’ve used curcumin because it’s a blood thinner, but what is the difference in the two.

Well for so many there is a real need for alternatives to aspirin besides my allergy. There is a full range of aspirin-resistant patients out there. A lot of people don’t ever realize that despite taking their baby aspirin they are actually aspirin-resistant and they aren’t getting the benefits of aspirin that they thought. Up to 26% of those under age 60 are aspirin-resistant, and over 60 that rises to 45%. And they have found that there is  a significant correlation between aspirin resistance and heart attacks or strokes in patients with stable cardiovascular disease, resulting in an increased risk of death. I have an 8 year old and so I need to live a long, healthy life. So I research all of the time what I can naturally use to help my heart (which has a hole in it) keep strong for many decades to come.

Resveratrol, in addition to its other cardioprotective properties, is known to inhibit platelet aggregation. Resveratrol is one of a group of compounds that are called phytoalexins. These are produced in plants during times of environmental stress such as microbial (fungal) infection or UV irradiation. It has been suggested that this ability of resveratrol may be responsible for its protection against coronary heart disease. That includes effectively inhibiting aggregation of platelets from patients with aspirin resistance. So I think I will try a month on Reserve and see how I feel.

Exercise Slows Aging, but Research Shows it Doesn’t Slow Cancer

Exercise Slows Aging, Study Says it’s a FOXO Protein

What are they? FOXO proteins are a subgroup of the Forkhead family of transcription factors. This family is characterized by a conserved DNA-binding domain (the ‘Forkhead box’, or FOX) and comprises more than 100 members in humans, classified from FOXA to FOXR on the basis of sequence similarity. These proteins participate in very diverse functions: for example, FOXE3 is necessary for proper eye
development, while FOXP2 plays a role in language acquisition.

Members of class ‘O’ share the characteristic of being regulated by the insulin/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. Exercise training significantly increased FOXO3a protein in the heart and FOXO3a in the adipose tissue of aged rats. Exercise training significantly increased FOXO3a protein in the heart and FOXO3a mRNA in adipose tissue of aged rats. In this study they concluded that exercise training, which significantly increases SIRT1 activity, could counteract age-related systems impairment.

Exercise Slows Aging But Doesn't Slow Cancer I Barbara Christensen I Paleo Vegeo

So what’s originally was found when they studied to see what made yeast age. This lead to the research that they have done on Resveratrol and it’s effects on our aging process, and the SIRT1 activity.

What the newest research shows:

So what I found most interesting in this study is that they have said all along that exercise will fight aging because it increases the FOXO3a protein. But reporting in the Sept. 3 issue of Molecular and Cellular Biology, found that FOXO3a, a transcription factor that regulates gene expression, becomes active when growing cancer cells begin to starve. Their research suggests that this protein then turns on molecular switches that allow the cancer cells to invade surrounding tissues. Resveratrol ‘clips’ these proteins. MU researchers found that when the cancer was treated with resveratrol alone, 44 percent of the tumor cells were killed.

Below, Donna Antarr, M.D. and William Amzallag, M.D. discuss the benefits of my choice of Resveratrol, Reserve. Please listen and you will learn all about the science behind resveratrol as well as the other natural anti-oxidants found in Reserve – like grapeseed, blueberry, and aloe vera! Learn how this product can defend against aging by resisting that oxidative stress and free radical damage. If you’ve read the news – so many of these anti-oxidants are bad for us, and the science was never done before we started using them. Unlike those, resveratrol has been getting lots of studies and the results are amazing!!

How is Stem Cell Technology becoming a part of Skin Care? Luminesce

Stem Cell Technology Becoming A Part of Skin Care

Our stem cells are these amazing cells that can turn into any kind of cell in the body. My best friend is currently going through stem cell therapy for her cancer. But who knew (well I guess Suzanne Somers knew) that stem cells can serve as a repair system for many types of the body.

Most of us think of stem cells and think of embryonic cells. But these are not the stem cells that I’m talking about. Not like the ones I talked about the “flavor” companies using to bring you back for more soda pop, etc. I’m talking about adult stem cells that have been separated in the lab. I found this so interesting that I’ve ordered up some of this product, Luminesce, to use on my face and see if holds up to the promise of the photos I’ve seen online. You see, I have an adorable daughter that is growing up too fast, and I want to be young and vibrant to keep up with her.

Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum I Review and Opportunity

They say that this patent pending product will deliver the key growth factors found in natural skin. As we age our production of these growth factors within skin is reduced, and leads to wrinkling and thinning of the skin. I have personally seen this and have used the Two Minute Miracle Gel for a few months trying to eliminate, but I have several areas that just seem to plump and not repair. And those damaged skin cells may be repaired, and skin tissue re-generated they say if done with the right product.

Dr Newman formulated this product using a patent pending Adult Stem Cell Technology process that he developed himself. We think of it as a “fountain of youth” in a bottle. It is rich with over 200 growth factors, and sinks into the skin, and communicates with your mature cells, encouraging them to retain moisture, step up production of collagen and other proteins that might be deficient in aging skin, and repair damaged cells.

So we’ll see here soon because I ordered it today.

What is Luminesce made out of??

Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum I Review and Opportunity I Barbara Christensen

They call this Luminesce cellular rejuvenation serum and that you use it after cleansing and at night for advanced repair to your skin. It is the most popular skin care product.

The ingredients are:
Adipose Derived Adult Stem Cell Conditioned Media, Purified Water, Glycerin, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, DL-Panthenol, Sodium PCA, Allantoin, Superoxide Dismutase, Sodium Hydroxide.

I’ve added below a two minute video where they talk about the stem cells, Dr. Nathan Newman talks about this repairitive, regenerative abilities, and the technology that they’ve utilized.

So let’s see if I let the stem cells seek out and change my skin. I am most interested in if it can repair the under eye area, and the one scar I have under my eye from childhood. Should be a fun experiment to say the least. You can learn more at www.BombshellJeunesse.com.
