Hello Spring I Update Conference Phoenix 2016

The Spring Juice Plus Conference was off the hook. Let me just start right there. Between the microbiome talk that Mitra gave to our team as well as a masquerade event she put on at an art gallery – with vegan food trucks and gluten-free beer of course!

We learned about how the farm fresh non-gmo produce goes from farm to capsule in just six hours. And how devoted these farmers and our team are to making sure it’s every bit as nutrient dense as it can be. We learned that this company dreams hard, plays hard, gives a lot! So many charitable organizations are getting support from Juice Plus. It’s pretty amazing. However, I realized far to late, as I usually do, that I packed way too much. I need to figure this out before we head over to Scandinavia and Europe.

So we left early to head to Utah so that I could teach a class there. I got to see my family, and my daughter was thrilled to see everyone and pick out a dress for my SIL’s Fall wedding. Unfortunately I thought I was done with bridesmaid style clothing… but I have until September to find myself a Burgundy dress. More reason to get sexier between now and then. We stopped for a few days on the way between Utah and Arizona in Southern California. The Welk’s Resort was amazing. It’s the first time we stayed there, but I don’t think it will be our last.

It was really nice that my family came with me. I don’t like to travel without them. So we went to Legoland, and went swimming, and made some memories because that is what this business provides for us. My Juice Plus Conference ticket was free because of my Fast Track to VF. As well, my earnings paid for our Legoland tickets, and business paid for our resort stay in San Diego. It really made for an amazing trip this year.

Thursday morning bright and early Dr. Mitra Ray gave our team an amazing training on the impact of our nutrition and our gut microbiome. There was so much information that I am going to have to review the recording to really make sure I get it all. The big takeaway is that my IBS (irritable bowel disease)  inflammation was due to my microbiome, or lack of good microbiome. But that we just need to eat for our gut health, and the rest will follow.

Of course the best part was that my husband and my daughter went with me to conference to see why this company means so much to me. We listened to a talk that first night from Olympian and Cancer Survivor, Shannon Miller. Amazing talk to say the least. Interesting that in order to compete she was given Juice Plus as a child, and in order to heal later in life her doctor recommended she go back to Juice Plus.

We all got super excited when they started sharing that a new product will be coming later this year and early next year across the globe. Juice Plus Omega Omega Blend is going to be a huge hit! Whole food vegetarian omegas, amazing. The National Marketing Directors will get it first before it’s launched at the Fall Conference for Distributors to get a try.

This Spring Conference was held in Phoenix, which I did enjoy getting some natural Vitamin D when I had the chance. The next Spring Conference will be held in Anaheim, so I just have to say who wants to write off a trip to Disneyland? (jk… however if you stay a few days longer and visit Disneyland what a fun idea for the family).

Of course my friend, Linda, who shows you age is no limit was right by my side as well. I am super excited to walk the next conference as a Sales Coordinator, and then moving onto SSC and NMD (Now Make Diamonds!) and I can’t wait to take so many of you with me. It really gives my purpose more meaning to have you with me!!!

Fearless to Brilliance : Real Life Word Of The Year

Last year I carved out the year of being Fearless. I can tell you that it did amazing things for my life from all areas. I learned to say what I wanted to say, without fear. I learned to be who I wanted to be, without fear. So I decided I was going to go into a year of Brilliance this year. I was going to share this intensity of wisdom. However, I have so much I want to share that I have really struggled to pull it all together. You know what I mean? I could work on all of this all day every day of this year. That’s how much information I have in my brain that I’d love to get out and share. So I know that I need to refocus and get a plan.

So I bought a project planner – yes just a plain old paper, old-school planner. First project of course is hitting Sales Coordinator. I am halfway there if I was doing it on my own. But I am doing it with a team, so of course that will get you there faster. My goal is to hit Sales Coordinator by March 31st, 2016 so let’s just say it.

There it’s written in the universal language of manifestation, and so it is!

But then I started looking at all of my other projects. Vitality Reset, it’s done. I have it in my hands and will have it at my Utah classes. However, I am not sure other than events how I will push it out there.

Vitality Reset Barbara ChristensenSecond project: Unraveling the Net. 11857 words and only 37 pages. I keep getting pulled away from it, and it’s one of those writing projects that is very hard to get back to.

Third project: Virtuosoul. This was by far my biggest sellout to date, and now I am really tearing it apart to create something that works for the masses. It’s a monster project. No idea if I will finish before the fall.

So … I am living creatively and going for brilliance … which seems to have set this fire of insanity (or intense brightness as the word seems to bring out) and I am feeling like a NASCAR driver. Fast, furious, going in circles. However I am here.

So there you have where I am at as we’re nearing the end of the second month of the year. How’s your Word Of The Year turning out so far?

Fantastic Business Advice : Speak Less Say More

Here’s my little tip of the day…something that I have to work on all the time myself but it really is important to get and recently brought back to my attention by a mentor.
( with your business, with your kids, etc)
You know when someone asks you about Juice Plus, when they are interested in joining? and you e-mail them 3 paragraphs with all the Transform 30 info, all the ways to do it, all the news, the minimums, the quotas, the earnings, the products, how much you LOVE it, 10 links, etc etc???
This is my go to nature to just vomit the information all over them!
It’s too much….they need it briefer, catchy and concise.
The more you say, the more chance they will walk away. the more chance they will talk themselves out of it.
Just like talking to your kids…You’ll find they listen better when you say things in 1 or 2 sentences because if it’s longer than that, they hear the charlie brown thing “bwah bwah bwah bwah bwah….”

Dr. Mitra Ray​ recently put me on a “twitter challenge” because this girl likes to talk. I truly do this all the time. (um… you have figured that out, right?) The decision was if I want to write a blog post, put it on the blog. Then share the link. 🙂

Just think about this post…. I know that most of you are reading this on your phone. Did you really want to push the “more” button to get to the end? What do you think your conversion rate is on your posts, messages, etc.

It has been working far better for me to be simple unless I am working on a one-on-one coaching call or chat. I think I’ve learned that usually I am blabbering to talk myself into it, not them. Instead I am prepared to share small, but listen big.

So remember…


Leading Your Network Marketing Business with Passion and Purpose

The biggest thing for you to realize about yourself when you are drawn into a network marketing organization, is that you are a leader in your own right. Someone is looking for you to lead them with your passion and your purpose. That means there are people who are turning to you for a reason, and they are listening to what you have to say. Your conversations have much more meaning than you even realize. Without understanding boundaries and roles you will be throwing people off with those conversations. So what should you realize about your conversation?

Conversation Characteristics:

– Every time you open your mouth, YOU create culture.
– These conversations are more important to results than most other conversations you have as a leader.
– They can be formal or informal, long or short
– You are having them already, even if you don’t consciously realize it.

Look for opportunities to turn a normal conversation into a leadership conversation. Don’t “vomit” up your business … but instead lead people into it by sharing your lifestyle… with sprinklings of why you are so passionate about your business every day. Determine WHY this business is so important to you, and break it down into a short and concise elevator response.

This Energy… this VISION is powered by the roles and goals that really define who you are and what you need to do. But most of us don’t even know what our goals are. Without boundaries your time gets easily eating up, and the life you want becomes further and further out of reach.

What roles do you play in life? Wife, Husband, mother, business owner, teacher, daughter, friend, neighbor, volunteer? You know what they are – and some of you may be working on too many roles. You should have only six roles that you are using to define the forward momentum… think about what it would be like to wear twenty hats and get everything done in life that you need to do… how would that work??

So how can I define my roles in life to move my network marketing business forward?

Today I’d like for you all to do the following:
1. List your roles…. as many as you can think of.
2. Assign a priority to each role, or reflect on if one role really is part of another role.
3. List any key people associated with these roles.
4. Write a clarifying statement that describes specifically how you would want to fulfill this role in your life.
5. Break it down to just 6 Roles… and let the rest go. It is hard but your productivity will flourish if you can do this, and your life will feel completely different.
