A few years ago my very good friend said a special prayer, and won herself a Blendtec blender. She became addicted to this extremely popular smoothie recipe of Robyn Openshaw’s – the Green Smoothie Girl. My friend, Lauren, and I had gone to Robyn’s lecture when I moved to the Seattle area and she came into town. It was a huge ah ha moment for me in regards to my daughter’s health. After hearing her talk about her son’s asthma and taking him off dairy, I came home and did the same for my daughter. In just 6 weeks she was completely off steroids.
Robyn, as you can tell by her nickname (and the name of her website) is a huge advocate of green smoothies and a predominantly raw, plant-based diet. You can watch her make this very recipe here. I never got into the Pink Breakfast Smoothie because of my nut allergies. But recently I not only found the amazing sacha inchi seed, but BlendFresh. So here is my Revamp which I call Pink Happiness!!
Place all ingredients in your blender and run on High speed for 50 seconds (“Whole Juice” cycle with a Blendtec). Additional blending time is fine if strawberries aren’t completely incorporated into the smoothie.
BlendFresh is the direct sales division of Blendtec created for both relationship marketers, holistic and wellness coaches, and bloggers alike. Amazing company that offers great pricing on their two most popular blenders, and the new raw, organic, non-gmo, healthy nutritional supplements.
